1. Scope
These terms apply to package travel arrangements (paketresor) sold or arranged by Rozana Travel AB. They are read together with the specific itinerary and pricing on your booking confirmation, which prevails in case of conflict for that booking.
Where these terms conflict with mandatory provisions of the Swedish Package Travel Act (Paketreselagen 2018:1217), the Act prevails.
2. Booking and confirmation
A binding agreement is formed when you receive a written booking confirmation from us. The confirmation will include: package title, destination, travel dates, traveller names, total price, payment schedule, and a summary of your statutory rights as required by Paketreselagen.
You must review the confirmation immediately and notify us within five days of any errors. After that period, the confirmation is deemed accepted as written.
3. Payment
Deposit: 25% of the total package price is due within seven days of booking confirmation. The booking is not secured until the deposit is received.
Balance: The remaining 75% is due no later than 30 days before departure.
Bookings made within 30 days of departure require full payment at confirmation.
Late payment is treated as a cancellation by the traveller, subject to the cancellation fee schedule below.
4. Changes by the traveller
You may request changes to your booking (dates, traveller names, add-ons) up to 45 days before departure, subject to availability and any applicable supplier fees. We charge a flat administrative fee of [SEK XXX] per change request beyond the first.
Within 45 days of departure, changes may be treated as a partial cancellation depending on the change requested.
5. Cancellation by the traveller
If you cancel a confirmed booking, the following non-refundable fees apply (calculated as a percentage of the total package price):
More than 60 days before departure: 10% (administrative fee).
60 to 31 days before departure: 50%.
30 days or less before departure: 100%.
We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance with cancellation cover to protect against the risk of having to cancel for personal reasons.
6. Changes or cancellation by Rozana Travel
We may make minor changes to the itinerary (hotel of equivalent standard, slight schedule shifts) without your consent and without compensation, provided the overall character and value of the package are not materially affected.
If we must make significant changes (different destination, materially different accommodation standard, major itinerary changes) or cancel the trip altogether, you may either accept the change, accept an alternative trip of equivalent or higher value, or terminate the contract and receive a full refund of all amounts paid. Where applicable, you are also entitled to compensation under Paketreselagen.
We may cancel for unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances (force majeure: natural disaster, war, civil unrest, epidemic) without liability for compensation, but we will refund all amounts paid.
7. Travel guarantee
Rozana Travel holds a Resegaranti registered with Kammarkollegiet, the Swedish Legal, Financial and Administrative Services Agency. This means your booking is financially protected: if we are unable to deliver the package due to insolvency, you are entitled to a refund or, if you are mid-trip, to repatriation. See the Resegaranti page for full details and the registration number.
8. Complaints
If something is not as described during your trip, contact our support number first so we have an opportunity to put it right. The number is on your travel documents and is monitored 24/7 during your trip.
Formal complaints must be submitted in writing within two months of the trip's completion to info@rozanatravel.se. We respond within 30 days.
Unresolved disputes can be referred to the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (Allmänna reklamationsnämnden, ARN) at arn.se. Consumers in the EU may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform.
9. Insurance
Travel insurance is not included in the package price. We strongly recommend a comprehensive policy covering: medical and emergency evacuation, trip cancellation, baggage, and personal liability.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by Swedish law. Disputes are subject to Swedish jurisdiction, with the District Court of Stockholm as the court of first instance, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rules in your country of residence.
